The Biggest Loser of E3?

Thanks to the long-awaited rollout of next-gen consoles, this year's E3 gaming convention was packed with news for consumers and investors alike. In the video below, Fool contributor Demitrios Kalogeropoulos and consumer goods analyst Blake Bos discuss investor takeaways from the conference.

Demitrios says that he has his eye on the war brewing against Activision Blizzard (NASDAQ: ATVI  ) , which will have to take on no less than Disney (NYSE: DIS  ) and Electronic Arts (NASDAQ: EA  ) starting this summer -- all the while dealing with user defections from its cash cow, World of Warcraft. These battles will make it hard, he argues, for Activision to repeat the dominant business performance it notched in 2012.

While Activision and Microsoft have been taking the headlines when it comes to console gaming, Fools following the gaming sector would do well to keep tabs on Electronic Arts. The Motley Fool's special report breaks down the risks and opportunities facing the company to help you decide if EA is right for your portfolio. Click here to get your copy now.
